Green Party of Aotearoa candidate for Ōhāriu
This is one of those issues which just makes me tired every time it rears its head, so instead of burning energy writing up a big post on it I just blurted out some thoughts on Twitter. And people seemed to like them! So for posterity:
The fact is, the majority of pregnant teens tell family. If they don't, they have good reasons.

The only thing that matters is this: if a teen says they need an abortion and cannot tell their family, I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE THEM.
